Frank Mario Signorelli , a beloved figure whose 41-year tenure on the Lompoc Valley Medical Center (LVMC) board left an enduring legacy, died Oct. 3 at age 88.
A visitation for the Lompoc native was held Thursday, Oct. 9, at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, and a memorial Mass was held Friday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. at La Purisima Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lompoc Valley Medical Center Foundation, La Purisima, or a charity of choice.
Appointed to the LVMC board in 1973, Signorelli transformed healthcare in Lompoc, growing the hospital’s budget from $2.4 million to over $60 million by his 2014 retirement.
