A seismometer has been installed at T-Mobile Park ahead of Friday night’s decisive Game 5 of the American League Division Series to measure the seismic activity of an expected crowd of over 47,000 on the corner of Edgar and Dave.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network shared photos on social media Friday morning of their installation of a seismometer, giving a nod to something Mariners All-Star catcher Cal Raleigh said following the team’s Game 2 win at the stadium on Sunday night.

“Cal Raleigh said he could feel the ground shaking in Game 2, so we came to take a closer look!” reads the post. “… We want to feel this place rocking!”
