CITYWIDE — FORMER GOV. ANDREW CUOMO has gained ground in the New York City mayoral race but still trails Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani by double digits, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday. The survey , the first since Mayor Eric Adams exited the race on Sept. 28, shows Cuomo rising to 33%, up from 23% last month, while Mamdani leads the race with 46% of likely voters, and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa with 15%. The poll surveyed 1,015 likely voters between Oct. 3 through 7 and carries around a 3.9% margin of error.
