NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) - The Newburgh Volunteer Fire Department has a new tool that will help them save more lives.

Through a grant from the county’s commissioners, firefighters were able to train using the new “Lucas Device”.

Officials say this tool will help their firefighters provide CPR to residents in need.

The device can provide mechanical chest compressions to patients who are suffering a cardiac arrest.
