After closing its doors earlier this year, Reload Bar and Games is reloading.

The video game bar is coming back for one night only, celebrating the biggest event on its calendar, Halloween.

While new tenants are already transforming the original location on Northbourne Avenue into the venue's next life, Reload is setting up shop on November 1, just a few hundred metres away at Baileys Corner, in the space formerly held by Transit Bar .

"Halloween was always our biggest event, closely followed by New Year's Eve, but it was probably the one that stood out for me as being that our community really came together for it," Reload co-owner Marc Brown said.

"We'd see people who would come to reload Halloween events, who wouldn't go out most other times of the year.
