Blues forward Alexey Toropchenko could miss Saturday’s game in Calgary due to general soreness.
Toropchenko did not practice with the team Friday at Centene Community Ice Center, and Blues coach Jim Montgomery said he was questionable to play against the Flames. Asked whether it was an upper- or lower-body injury that Toropchenko was dealing with, Montgomery said “it’s both.”
Toropchenko also missed a practice Oct. 1 due to soreness but was back on the ice the next day and then played an exhibition Oct. 4 at Chicago.
Without Toropchenko skating Friday morning, the bottom six looked a little different than it did during Thursday’s 5-0 loss to Minnesota.
