TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Downtown Tampa's favorite holiday tradition returns for its 10th anniversary with the reopening of Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park presented by the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Starting Friday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Jan 4., the Tampa Riverwalk will be transformed into a waterfront winter destination bringing family-friendly fun that's open to everyone.

This year's Winter Village in Tampa celebrates the holidays with many magical new attractions, as well as games, music, and even a light show.

Additionally, opening day will kick off the season with a special Winter Village Time Capsule celebration where guests are invited to bring a photo from past visits, or snap a new one, to include in a capsule that will be sealed until the 20th anniversary in 2035.
