Three people are in hospital after a series of stabbings in Yaletown Friday morning.
The Vancouver Police Department says officers responded to reports of multiple people stabbed near David Lam Park around 7:30 a.m.
Emergency responders found three victims who were all taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“Thankfully, they will be OK,” said Cst. Tania Visintin.
She says the suspect ran from the area before police were called.
“Initial evidence suggests the attacks were random and unprovoked,” said a VPD statement.
Victims described the suspect as a woman in her late 20s or early 30s, between 5’3″ and 5’7″ tall, with a slim build, and long, dark hair. She was wearing an oversized black leather jacket, tight dark pants, and either a leopard-print shirt or scarf.
