A woman turned to the Reddit community for advice following an emotional struggle with her engagement ring and her fiancé’s lack of enthusiasm toward wedding planning. In her post , she wondered if she is being shallow for wishing he had spent more on the ring and for feeling embarrassed about it.

The 27-year-old wrote, “Me and my fiancé (51M) have been together for 8 years. 3 years ago he became a millionaire after selling shares in the company he built – he is now worth about 4M$.”
