In Tampa, Florida, Barbara Baker , a bus driver with the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART), is being celebrated as a hero for reuniting a lost child with his mother. During her shift, Baker spotted a young boy wandering alone on a busy road, still wearing his pajamas. Without hesitation, she pulled over, exited the bus, and brought the child to safety.
Baker then contacted HART operations, who alerted the Tampa Police Department. Officers arrived promptly and began knocking on doors in the neighborhood. After about 20 minutes, they successfully located the young boy's mother , reuniting the family.
