This week has seen three films hitting the theaters; Sasivadane, Constable and ARI (My Name is Nobody) .
With no major hype and a lukewarm response from moviegoers, the bell didn’t ring loud at the box office. However, this is the fate of these three films.
Sasivadane turned out to be a slow and underwhelming romantic drama. The first half drags without much engagement, while the second half picks up slightly with some emotional depth and twists.
The lead pair performed well, but the weak screenplay and flat narration limited its appeal. Trade reports suggest the movie has earned modest collections but still falls short of expectations.
Varun Sandesh’s Constable was expected to mark his comeback after some hibernation, but the film ended up disappointing both critics and audiences.
