Drivers headed from Mobile to Daphne on Interstate 10 next Tuesday will have to take a different exit while the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) performs routine maintenance work on an off ramp.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 14, Exit 35A onto U.S. Highway 98 South will be closed to traffic so ALDOT crews can install a foundation for a new high-mast light pole, according to an ALDOT news release. The work is part of an ongoing effort to upgrade lighting in the area.
