The NFL is reviewing the New York Giants’ handling of concussion protocol and the behavior of head coach Brian Daboll after a tense sideline exchange with the team doctor.

The incident occurred during the Giants’ Thursday, October 9, win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Jaxson Dart was pulled late in the third quarter to be evaluated for a possible concussion after taking a hit to the head. As team physicians tended to him in the medical tent, Daboll could be seen on the broadcast shouting at head physician Dr. Scott A. Rodeo. According to ESPN, the league is now investigating whether the Giants followed proper concussion procedures and could face discipline.
