Italian restaurant The Sicilian Butcher opened its first Tennessee location in Nashville on Friday.

Known for its build-your-own meal approach, the restaurant is located in Wedgewood-Houston at 475 Gray St. at mixed-use development The Finery. The menu includes various dishes from Chef Joey Maggiore, Sicilian family platters and bruschetta boards.

Each location of The Sicilian Butcher is paired alongside The Sicilian Baker, an Italian bakery concept that offers sweet treats and Italian pastries.

Phoenix-based parent company The Maggiore Group partnered with private equity firm Savory Fund in 2021 to expand the restaurant concept.
