DULUTH — Halloween is still three weeks away, but it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Bayfront Festival Park.
Setup for the 2025 Bentleyville season started Oct. 4 with members from Iron Workers Local 512 installing the iconic 128-foot LED Christmas tree. Lights have also been attached to the stage area. Bentleyville personnel tested the lights multiple nights this week.
According to a news release, the tree features 150,000 LED lights, weighs 17 tons, has three 40-foot-long sections, an 8-foot ball on top with 28 3-foot spikes and has a foundation of eight 9-foot footings.
