An area of a hospital has been evacuated after two people were assaulted . ‌

Emergency services raced to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the alarm was raised at around 5.30pm on Friday. ‌

A picture, which was shared with the Record, showed a number of police and fire vehicles in attendance. ‌

It's understood officers were responding to reports a man having assaulted two people at the hospital .

The pair were treated at the scene . The extent of their injuries is so far unclear.
