TEKAMAH, Neb. (WOWT) - A man was arrested in Tekamah on weapons and drug charges after a search Thursday morning.

A release from the Tekamah Police Department says a search was conducted on apartment in the city at 9 a.m. Thursday where a convicted felon, identified as 45-year-old Russell McCrea was residing.

The search yielded five firearms, one with a threaded barrel to attach a suppressor, two unidentifiable “ghost guns,” two un-serialized suppressors, several rounds of live ammo, and a small portion of marijuana.

McCrea was arrested for five counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a prohibited item by a felon, and possession of marijuana.
