(WYMT) - In celebration of its five-year anniversary, the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund announced $500,000 in grant funding to organizations across the Appalachian region.

Founded by musicians Tyler Childers and his wife Senora May, the fund supports groups tackling issues ranging from food insecurity and sustainable farming to housing, addiction recovery, and community development.

Within the last month, grants were awarded to the following organizations:
