CHEROKEE COUNTY, Texas — A Cherokee County man accused of evading arrest and having multiple drugs was arrested Thursday afternoon.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, Syntedrick Latroy Fuller tried to escape on foot after the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, Jacksonville Police Department and Bullard Police Department arrived at his Jacksonville home to carry out a search warrant.

He was arrested following a short pursuit. Furthermore, deputies recovered 141 grams of ecstasy, 2.8 grams of meth and a firearm from inside his home.

Fuller has been booked into the Cherokee County Jail on the following charges:

Evading arrest detention

Two charges of manufacture of a controlled substance

Delivery of a controlled substance
