The 18th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event has been postponed due to Gov. Phil Murphy declaring a state of emergency ahead of this weekend's storms that will include high winds and coastal flooding.

The event will be rescheduled, and a new date will be announced, a spokesperson with the American Cancer Society said.
