Things haven’t gone particularly well for Penn State on the field over the past few weeks, but Friday marked a new off-the-field low point, too.
Class of 2027 four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor, of Pine-Richland near Pittsburgh, decommitted from Penn State. He made his pledge in March.
Taylor ranks as the No. 11 wide receiver in the 2027 class thus far and was a huge piece of what used to be Penn State’s No. 1-ranked group. James Franklin’s recruiting class has now dropped to No. 2, behind Oklahoma, with four commitments.
