SCHENECTADY — GE Vernova is facing $49 million in potential canceled projects after the federal Department of Energy (DOE) announced $7 billion in canceled government energy projects.

According to U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko, there are $196.5 million in canceled government energy projects in the region, with GE Vernova facing $49 million in cuts across 11 projects, GE facing $9 million in cuts and Plug Power seeing $93 million in canceled projects.
