SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A new interactive exhibit highlighting America's Revolutionary past is coming to Savannah.

The American Battlefield Trust has joined with the Lachlan McIntosh Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to bring the traveling American Revolution Experience display to the Savannah History Museum/Coastal Heritage Society. The exhibit will welcome visitors through Oct. 23..

“The spirit of the American Revolution wasn’t confined to halls of power where independence was declared — it lived in the patriot soldiers and the everyday people whose courage shaped the America we know today,” said Trust president David Duncan. “Through this exhibit, we hope to connect the people of Savannah to those individuals whose sacrifices continue to shape our nation’s spirit.”
