By this time next week, boys tennis individual state tournaments will be underway and on the verge of reaching their own conclusions.
The Class 4A state tournament takes place Oct. 16-18 at Pueblo City Park, with the 5A championships taking place on those same days but at the Denver Tennis Park.
With state berths at stake, local athletes competed in regional tournaments Wednesday and Thursday.
