(WJET/WFXP)-- One of the members of the 4-Nation gang indicted in one of the largest RICO cases in Erie history has been handed down his sentence after reaching a deal with prosecutors.
Davante Jones, 32, of Erie, appeared before Judge Susan Paradise Baxter in federal court on Oct. 9, who sentenced him to 13 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for his role in the 4-Nation gang.
Court documents say Jones withdrew his initial plea of not guilty on Oct. 9 and entered a guilty plea to felony racketeering and trafficking 866 grams of fentanyl and meth, and will immediately begin serving his term.
Jones was sentenced to 13 years in prison and five years of supervised release for both charges; however, those sentences will run concurrently.
