CORVALLIS, Ore-- A bright spot in one of Oregon State athletic programs continues to illuminate hope in Corvallis.

On Thursday, Oregon State volleyball picked up its 6th straight win after a 3-0 sweep over Gonzaga inside Gill Coliseum. But the win also showed something much more important. That program is heading in the right direction.

"We're really trying to build a program up and we're doing a great job," said freshman outside hitter Maeli Cormier. "I think just like this season's already feeling pretty special. We say it every day, but yeah, I think we're just trying to grow from that and like to keep that going for the next few years."
