Days after officials said no charges would be filed in the case of a Deshler High teen severely injured at school, his family is questioning the findings.
“When you look at the photos and all the evidence that we have, to come out and say that there was absolutely no foul play involved and it’s just a total freak accident, it doesn’t line up to me at all. It doesn’t. It’s very shocking,” said Jason Borden, father of August Borden.
The 15-year-old was airlifted to Birmingham on Aug. 19 with a fractured skull, broken orbital bones and more . He is now recovering at home.
