A male juvenile has been arrested and charged in connection with last Saturday night’s shootout in downtown Montgomery that left two people dead and 12 others wounded, authorities announced Friday.

Montgomery Police said the suspect, whose name has not been released due to his age, faces one count of capital murder, nine counts of first-degree assault and three counts of second-degree assault.

He was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility on Friday. Investigators say additional arrests are anticipated.
