BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A former schoolteacher in North Dakota is now facing years in federal prison for child porn charges.
John Vetter, who formerly taught at Lincoln Elementary, was charged after investigators say he used a messaging app to send pictures and videos showing children involved in sexual acts.
Earlier this year, Vetter agreed to plead guilty to one count of possession of materials containing child pornography.
Vetter resigned from his position in March of last year.
He now faces up to 20 years in prison as well as a fine of up to $250,000. He'll be sentenced in January in federal court in Bismarck.
