The Dallas Cowboys will be without one of their running backs for the rest of the season.
Cowboys executive Stephen Jones said during an interview on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas Friday that running back Miles Sanders is out for the season. Sanders is dealing with ankle and knee injuries.
Javonte Williams has been the Cowboys’ lead back for the whole season. He has 79 carries for 447 yards and five touchdowns. Sanders has rushed 20 times for 117 yards and a touchdown, and he has eight catches for 30 yards.
Stephen Jones excited about backup RB Jaydon Blue
Jaydon Blue will serve as the backup to Williams with Sanders out.
“We’re so fired up about what Jaydon Blue can do for this offense. He has rare explosiveness. … I think he’s going to bring something to the RB position we haven’t had,”
