Many Calgarians still haven’t figured out this mayoral race. Who can blame them? It’s a puzzler with only 10 days to go.

Pollster Janet Brown usually has as firm a grip on campaigns as any individual in Alberta. Her surveys have a long record of nailing both provincial and civic elections.

In a new one for the CBC, Brown finds that Jeromy Farkas is ahead with 27 per cent, followed by Jyoti Gondek and Sonya Sharp, tied at 23 per cent.

With margins of error, that’s effectively a three-way tie. The big news is Sharp’s climb to the top tier.

Is she breaking through? It’s hard to know, considering Brown’s other findings.

Thirty-four per cent of voters are still undecided. A substantial number of the quasi-decided could still flip to another.
