Montgomery police have announced the arrest of a fourth suspect in a fatal shooting that happened nearly a year ago.

Police say 19-year-old Kadarius Griggs has been charged with two counts of capital murder and three counts of attempted murder.

The shooting happened at around 6:15PM on October 23, 2024. Police were called to a hospital where people were being treated for gunshot wounds. One of them, 22-year-old Eldren Wright, died six days later.

The preliminary investigation shows that the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive.
