Heavy rainfall did not spare many roadways in Brevard County on Friday.
"This is normally a parking lot," Tom Myers said, describing what looked like a lake near his home in Titusville. "It didn’t get as bad as Milton, but it’s worse than anything else I’ve ever seen."
Many people we spoke with said their area is prone to minor flooding during major storms, but they were surprised by this.
"Last night, the wind was coming so strong off the river, it actually was going under the bags and still getting in our garage," Colette Ferrell said. "We had a pump running in the garage to get water back out to the house, and this isn’t even a hurricane.”
