A 74-year-old Chelsea resident faces a slew of narcotics distribution charges after a raid on his vehicle outside a local Dunkin’ Donuts.
“This case demonstrates the commitment of our officers to disrupt the flow of dangerous and addictive prescription narcotics into our community,” Chelsea Police Chief Keith Houghton said following the arrest. “Our department will continue to pursue those who profit from those suffering from addiction and work with our regional partners to hold them accountable.”
Ramon Vega was arraigned at Chelsea District Court on three counts of possession with intent to distribute drugs, specifically Oxycodone, a Class B controlled substance; Clonazepam, a Class C controlled substance; and Gabapentin, a Class E controlled substance.
