Jack can be a pretty chill dog.

But a big personality is what really defines this Alaskan/husky mix, who is at the city’s Animal Services waiting for his forever home.

“He’s just like a walking cartoon character,” says Kristina Ince, an animal behaviour specialist who is part of the adoption team and quite smitten with Jack.

“He’s very bouncy, covered in fluff and ready to play.”

Jack is about a year old, weighs about 20 kgs and still has a bit of room to grow.

As much as they love to have him around, Ince can’t wait to see him go.

He’s looking for a home with children older than age 12, a fenced yard and time for fun.

Given his luxurious locks, they also have to be prepared to brush Jack often and have him pampered at the salon once in a while.
