JONESBORO — Two former Clayton County Jail officers were recently arrested for smuggling contraband into the Jail.

According to media reports, Ashley Victoria Lewis-Allen and K-9 Officer Keshawn Branch were arrested as well as inmate Donsheldon Lowe.

According to Clayton County Jail records, Branch was arrested for violation of oath by a public officer, giving inmate gun/drugs/alcohol and possession of drugs by an inmate.

According to Clayton County court records, Lewis Allen is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Oct. 29 in Magistrate Court. Her first appearance hearing was Oct. 3.

She is charged with crossing guardlines with gun/drugs/alcohol, crossing guardlines with gun/drugs/alcohol or under influence and Violation of Georgia
