DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - As the winter months inch closer, King’s Harvest Ministries is hosting a winter coat drive to help homeless people stay warm.

The nonprofit organization is collecting clean, gently-used winter coats, gloves and hats for people in need throughout the Quad Cities area, according to a media release.

Donors can pull into King’s Harvest’s Warren Street parking lot, where volunteers will take donations, officials said.

Officials said they are also accepting monetary donations.

The drive is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at King’s Harvest Ministries on West 3rd Street.
