For the 97th straight year, Oklahoma and Texas collide in Dallas for the Allstate Red River Rivalry, one of college football’s most iconic matchups.

No. 6/6 Oklahoma (5-0, 1-0 SEC) faces No. RV/19 Texas (3-2, 0-1 SEC) at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday inside the Cotton Bowl. The game airs nationally on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe on the call.

The Sooners are the designated visiting team this year, and the visiting side has won seven of the last eight meetings.

HISTORIC RIVALRY

This will be the 121st meeting between Oklahoma and Texas, dating back to the first showdown on Oct. 10, 1900. The game has been held at the Cotton Bowl since 1937.
