SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) -It is homecoming season and Sulphur High School’s Homecoming parade isn’t just about school spirit - it’s also about history, pride and community.
On Friday, generations of tornadoes came together for a milestone celebration. For some, it was their first homecoming. For others, it was a return decades in the making.
Alumni from as far back as the class of 1965 took part in the parade.
“Awesome, we’re still alive and well,” said Sue Tombs, Class of 1965 alum. “Our class has made teachers, lawyers, doctors, architects, carpenters, plant workers, and construction workers, so we have done well. We still love Sulphur high we are still apart of Sulphur high.”
