The Broomfield-based aerial dance studio’s seasonal spooky show will bring a twist to Tim Burton’s 1993 stop-motion animated film “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Iluminar Aerial’s show brings the story to life through aerial and traditional dance, complete with costumes and music. The aerial dance portion includes dancers using different apparatuses, like the aerial hoop and long pieces of fabric. This year’s show comes with revamped choreography and new pieces added, according to Emily Moon, the studio’s owner.
The first round of shows begin Oct. 18, with a matinee showing at 2:30 p.m. and an evening show at 6:30 p.m. at The Apollo Center, 2655 Industrial Lane. For tickets and a full list of shows, visit IluminarAerial.com/shows.
