GENOA, Ohio — Genoa’s football team didn’t do anything flashy on offense on Friday night, but the Comets couldn’t be stopped in a critical Northern Buckeye Conference showdown with Eastwood.

Genoa scored a touchdown on each of its first six possessions with the help of a physical, bruising, and productive style, and a key stretch late in the second quarter gave the Comets the cushion they needed to upend the Eagles 42-27 at Genoa High School.
