ROSELAND, La. — Independent environmental testing expert Scott Smith is releasing his findings from the Smitty's fire.
“We found a mixture of chemicals from what is called products of incomplete combustion, dioxins to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and there are compounds you can breathe in and that you can be exposed to through your skin,” said Scott Smith, an independent testing expert who is the Founder and President of the nonprofit Blue Shirt Justice League.
He says people who live around Roseland have complained about health problems from bloody noses, respiratory issues, brain fog, headaches, and fatigue.
