PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Prince George Fire and EMS responded to a crashed water truck that ran into a house.
It started around 12:32 p.m. on Oct. 10, when crews were sent to the 6100 block of County Drive.
When they arrived, crews found a water truck that had collided with a residential house. The scene was quickly updated to a structural collapse.
The truck was towing a logging tractor before the crash, but it overturned about 75 yards from the home.
The Crater Regional Technical Rescue Team was called in to help safely extract the vehicle from the house.
Crews were able to get the truck out and stabilize the house within four hours.
The driver was evaluated on scene for injuries. The homeowner was inside when the crash happened but was not injured.
