ZWOLLE, La. - The annual Zwolle Tamale Fiesta continues through Saturday in Sabine Parish.

Festival attendees were surrounded by food trucks, vendors, carnival rides and tamales as the festival's vendor spots were filled to capacity.

"We've been doing this for 49 years and we're getting good at it. We have one red light but we are a small town with a big heart," said Fiesta board member Cindy Ezernack.

The community consists of many cultures including Spanish and Indian heritages.

"I'm used to seeing everyone here and it's amazing. Our community comes together to put on a big thing. I love representing the fiesta and the town that I'm from," said Miss Zwolle Tamale Fiesta Kennedi Green.
