SAGINAW, MI — Nouvel Catholic Central hosted Ithaca for a high school football game on Friday, October 10.

The game kicked off with points on the board for both teams, with Nouvel narrowly taking the lead in the first quarter 9-7 after a safety.

The second quarter was dominant by Nouvel, scoring two touchdowns to end the first half 23-7.

After scoring a touchdown in the third quarter to make the game 30-7, it seemed Nouvel was set to run away with the game.

Ithaca didn’t let that happen.

As rain began to shower over the players at Boyd Field, Ithaca proceeded to score touchdown after touchdown, earning 30 unanswered points to win the game 37-30.
