John Curtis saw its early lead slip away against Holy Cross but came up with some timely turnovers to prevent a loss.

Holy Cross quarterback Jokoby Farria was leading a drive late in the fourth quarter with the Tigers trailing by one point. He threw a deep pass but was intercepted by defensive back Jewellz Tapp, who returned the interception 50 yards for a touchdown to seal a 21-13 Curtis win.

Tapp’s pick-six marked the second Curtis interception of the second half. Holy Cross got the ball back one more time but ran out of time before it could take a shot at the end zone.
