The Melville Millionaires earned their second straight win — and fourth of the season — Friday night, defeating the Yorkton Terriers 7–2 in the first Highway 10 battle of the campaign.
Yorkton opened the scoring with a power-play goal from Gabriel Courchesne midway through the first, but Kale Margolis tied it late to make it 1–1.
Melville took over in the second period, getting goals from Grady Carmichael, Leo Jewitt, and Devin Winder to jump ahead 4–1, outshooting Yorkton 20–8 in the frame.
Zach Hertz pulled the Terriers within two, but Jackson Lee quickly restored the Mils’ three-goal cushion. Ty Janz and Rylan Oatman added late markers to seal the win.
Noah Sinagowitz stopped 41 of 43 shots for Melville, while Callum Creig allowed seven goals on 40 shots for Yorkton.
