GREENSBORO, N.C. — The second you walk up to Aggie FanFest, you’re met with the sounds of upbeat music, the smells of fair food and the sight of blue and gold everywhere. Whether it’s their first time or twentieth, visitors say the kickoff to “The Greatest Homecoming on Earth” — better known as GHOE — never disappoints.

“It’s our home, it’s our heritage, and this is just who we are,” said Lecretia Williamson, a 2018 North Carolina A&T alumna.

Each year, thousands of people fill Greensboro for A&T’s homecoming celebrations. FanFest, held outside War Memorial Stadium, marks the start of the weekend, drawing crowds with food, vendors and entertainment.
