WEST BRIDGEWATER — Last year’s 35-point loss to Fairhaven had been on the minds of West Bridgewater High's football players and coaching staff all offseason.

And especially in the week leading up to Friday night’s rematch.

“That was a focal point,” said West Bridgewater coach Justin Kogler. “We got embarrassed by Fairhaven last year. It was a joke. It was not a good football game. They dominated us from start to finish and I said, ‘That is not happening (again).’
