A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in a hit-and-run in the Haight-Ashbury District in San Francisco that injured two people on a scooter, San Francisco police said Friday.
Police said Fatima Zahra Kabira Ghaleb was booked into San Francisco Jail Thursday night. Bond was set at $50,000, according to jail records.
Officers responded to the area of Haight and Lyon streets, near Buena Vista Park, about 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 3 after a hit-and-run collision between a vehicle and a scooter, police said in a press release.
Authorities report one person on the scooter suffered life-threatening injuries, and the second sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital by paramedics.
